Our Mission
Enchanted Circle Trout Unlimited (ECTU) is a diverse group of conservationists bound together by our shared appreciation of cold water streams and lakes and the trout that inhabit them. As a chartered member of Trout Unlimited in 2007, the chapter’s membership and activities have grown steadily over the ensuing years. Trout Unlimited, a national organization of over 150,000 members, is dedicated to conserving, protecting and restoring North America’s coldwater fisheries and their watersheds.
We aim to:
-
Protect (native & wild trout watersheds)
-
Reconnect (watersheds by removal of migratory barriers)
-
Restore (habitat, flows and water quality)
-
Sustain (by land conservancy, youth education & membership development)
Our Vision
At ECTU, we envision a future where pristine water bodies thrive, supporting flourishing populations of native and wild trout. We strive to create a community deeply connected to nature, fostering a sustainable and harmonious coexistence with our aquatic friends.
Our Goal
Enchanted Circle Trout Unlimited (ECTU) aims to unite fishing enthusiasts and conservationists to safeguard the delicate ecosystem of the Native Rio Grande Cutthroat trout waters. We aim to ensure the sustainability and vitality of these precious streams and rivers.
Our Team
Dedicated to preserving and protecting the natural beauty of Northern New Mexico's waters, ECTU's board of directors is a group of passionate individuals committed to the conservation of native trout species and their habitats.
